WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, DATA PROTECTION, AND CONSENT FOR MINORS

1. Acknowledgment of Risks

I acknowledge and fully understand that participating in horseback riding and/or horse constellation activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Falls, impacts, slips, sudden horse movements, bites, kicks, and collisions;

• Environmental hazards such as uneven terrain, wind, sand, heat, and unexpected weather changes;

• Emotional and psychological effects that may arise during constellation sessions, due to the therapeutic and introspective nature of the experience.

I voluntarily accept all risks associated with these activities.

2. Physical Condition and Health Declaration

I declare that I am physically and mentally fit to participate.

I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or special needs to the organization.

If applicable, I confirm that any accompanying minor has no known health issues that would prevent safe participation.

3. Safety Compliance

I agree to:

• Wear all recommended safety equipment (helmet, closed shoes, appropriate clothing).

• Follow all instructions given by guides and facilitators at all times.

• Behave responsibly towards horses, staff, other participants, and nature.

• Understand that failure to comply may lead to termination of participation without refund.

4. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during participation.

I expressly release and hold harmless Cavalos na Praia do Meco by LITS Horses, its owners, staff, guides, facilitators, and partners from any and all liability, except in cases of proven gross negligence.

5. Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679):

• My personal data (and/or that of the minor) will be collected solely for booking, safety, and communication purposes.

• Data will be treated confidentially and securely, and will not be shared with third parties, except when legally required.

• I may request access, correction, or deletion of my data at any time by contacting litshorsesadm@gmail.com.

Final Declaration

By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to all the terms of this Waiver, assuming full responsibility for myself and/or the minor indicated above.
