These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website https://www.litshorses.com and the booking and participation in experiences provided by LITS Horses. By accessing our website or booking an experience, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility and participation

  • Participants must be in good physical and mental health to take part in horse riding activities.

  • Horse riding involves inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

  • Minimum age, weight, height, or experience requirements may apply depending on the activity.

  • For minors, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and complete the required forms.

 

LITS Horses reserves the right to refuse participation if safety requirements are not met.

Bookings and payments

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Prices are displayed in euros (€) unless otherwise stated.

  • Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking.

  • Bookings are only considered confirmed once payment is received and confirmation is issued.

Cancellations and rescheduling

  • Cancellation and rescheduling policies may vary depending on the experience booked.

  • Late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to meet participation requirements may result in partial or full loss of payment.

  • Experiences may be rescheduled or cancelled by LITS Horses due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date or solution.

 

Safety, instructions, and conduct

  • Participants must follow all instructions given by LITS Horses staff before and during the experience.

  • Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in immediate termination of the activity without refund.

  • Alcohol, drugs, or inappropriate behavior are strictly prohibited.

Liability and assumption of risk

 

Horse riding is an activity that involves animals, outdoor terrain, and environmental factors. By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • There are inherent risks involved, including but not limited to falls, injuries, or accidents.

  • LITS Horses is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from risks inherent to the activity, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Participants may be required to complete a waiver and rider information form prior to participation.

Insurance

 

LITS Horses maintains appropriate insurance coverage as required under Portuguese law. This does not eliminate the participant’s responsibility to act prudently and follow instructions.

Personal belongings

 

LITS Horses is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the experience.

Weather and environmental conditions

 

Experiences take place in natural outdoor environments. Weather and environmental conditions may affect routes, duration, or availability. Decisions related to safety and experience adjustments are at the discretion of LITS Horses.

Intellectual property

 

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and media, is the property of LITS Horses or its licensors and may not be used without prior written consent.

Website use

 

You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation. LITS Horses does not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
